**About the role**

As a Digital UI Designer at Foodstuffs, you’ll be a part of the awesome Digital Design team - a team who are all passionate about crafting solutions that go above and beyond the expectations of our users.

This role will give you the opportunity to shape the digital products for New Zealand’s most iconic and popular brands - think Pak/nSave’s Stickman, the trusted New World, and the summer favourite Four Square.

In this position you will work closely with Product Owners, Marketing and Engineering Teams to define and deliver new products, refine existing offerings, and bring our digital experiences to life

These are some of the things you will be doing:

- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements and develop solutions, that impact the bottom line and solve real user problems,
- Designing digital products from understanding and brainstorming through iterative design, development and delivery.
- Effectively communicating conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually to team members, stakeholders, and execs

**About you**

Being well versed in design and accessibility practices, you will be an experienced, proactive, and most importantly, Passionate UI Designer

Key attributes to be successful in this role include:

- UI design experience, either through agency or an in-house team.
- Excellent understanding of the design thinking and prototyping process, including product/interaction/visual, with the know-how to move from pencil on paper to layout to pixel-perfect handoff using current design tools
- A talented problem solver who knows how to collaborate to find a solution
