**About the role**
As a Senior Media Planner for Foodstuffs Precision Media, the retail media business in New World and PaknSave, you have a vital role to support the rapid growth of our Media business. A Foodstuffs Precision Media (FPM) Senior Media Planner takes on the bulk of the planning responsibilities in a team, working to pull together media plans that complement the client’s brand objectives and the problems to solve for. They are also responsible for managing their team and are a key player in managing the relationship with the client. There is a genuine need for leadership in this role to keep the team motivated and the client engaged. A Senior Media Planner also assumes responsibility for the achievement of financial targets set in their client portfolio.
In this role you’ll be part of a passionate retail media team using leading tools and techniques on projects that will delivery short
- and long-term impact. You’ll work within a media planning team featuring globally experienced retail media experts in the field, and alongside campaign managers, analysts, and the wider Foodstuffs’ Marketing & CX, and merchandise teams.
The Senior Media Planner role supports the delivery of superior customer experiences on behalf of Foodstuffs North and South Island co-operatives.
**About you**
You’ll be a strong collaborator with experience in insight led media planning and research analysis with sound knowledge of media channels and digital communications ideally with experience within a retail or FMCG environment.
Through your top-notch sales and advisory skills, you will be able to influence through data and insight as well as through fostering high levels of rapport with some of the largest suppliers in the country.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of the media ecosystem to understand how FPM can provide through the line multi-channel solutions to reach your clients objectives.
