**Carters Tyre Service Ltd is looking for one experienced Branch Manager for its branch inTauranga.**

**This is a full-time permanent role at $85,000 gross per year. The usual working hours is 40 hours minimum per week, Mondays to Fridays with some Saturdays.**

**The Branch Manager is responsible for branch performance in accordance with company policy and procedures. The branch manager creates and executes the branch business plan, ensures store profitability, and manages and develops branch personnel. The branch manager also plans, implements, and manages areas of responsibility to facilitate continuous improvement and personnel growth while supporting Carters Tyre Service, goals, mission statement and vision.**

**This role is responsible for actively participating in activities to facilitate and develop continuous improvement capability within the branch. The role will be completed in accordance with current health, safety, environmental and other legislative requirements.**

**People Leadership**

**Vision and strategic direction of the company is cascaded to all staff. Develop and coach staff to form an effective succession plan.**

**Ensure staff abide by Carters Tyre Service values by being a leadership role model. Engage staff to focus on success and continuous improvement.**

**Actively support, lead and manage change.**

**Staff are adequately trained, certified and licensed and have the knowledge to perform their roles.**

**Branch Effectiveness, Resource and Equipment Utilisation**

**Operate an efficient branch that achieves financial budgets.**

**Compliance to stock taking, goods receipting, inventory management and Work in Progress processes.**

**Achieve compliance with all NZTA standards and with all Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations.**

**Schedule team activity across the branch functions to optimise the use of internal/external resource within budget constraints.**

**Manage planned maintenance of branch vehicles to ensure compliance and servicing requirements are met to ensure workflow is not impacted.**

**Compliance to Service Level Agreement process including Costar and TMS processes. Ensure full completion of work processes carried out by staff are completed in full, on time and accurately (Tyres out of Warehouse sheet, job sheets, timesheets, TMS, vehicle audits as an example).**

**Anticipate staffing requirements to meet workflow and operational needs. Champion Continuous Improvement**

**Actively engage and support Continuous Improvement implementation. Ensure all staff maintain equipment to the required OEM standard.**

**Actively engage with the wider Carters Tyre Service team to drive, problem-solving, and share learning with colleagues.**

**Relationship Management & Customer Service**

**Maintain effective relationships with the fleet customers Service Level Agreement Customers. Become market savvy in the community and surrounding areas development of market intelligence, know your competitors.**

**Grow additional market opportunities within the local community and local business district increase forecourt sales.**

**Ensure all documentation and reporting requirements are completed on time and in full.**

**Maintain positive behaviours towards customers, employees, and vendors be the face of Carters Tyre Service.**

**Contact contractors/developers in pursuit of future business opportunities. Maintain effective relationships with all other internal and external contact points. Provide customer assistance as needed, including over the counter and over the phone. Ensure any customer, vendor or public complaints are responded to in a timely manner. Act as a delegate for the Regional Area Manager when required.**

**General Duties and Responsibilities**
