**About the role**:

- You will be responsible for the management of two branch operations in the Wellington region
- Coach, train and inspire your branch staff - with a strong focus on your sales team, who are responsible for both new business development and existing account management
- Manage branch P&L's and keep a close eye on stock/inventory, utilising your well developed analytical ability
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase growth and drive market share using your commercial acumen to spot opportunities and weak spots in your competitors
- Target, win and grow strong multilevel relationships with new customers and segment decision makers
- Maximise the efficiency of branch performance to budgeted EBIT targets
- Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure a seamless experience
- Manage and oversee health & safety processes

**About you**:

- You have proven leadership experience in the building products or related sector, preferably in a multi-site branch environment
- Experience in the trade customer environment will be highly regarded
- You can demonstrate experience in increasing sales performance, as well as streamlining operations - you enjoy interpreting P&L's and have strong financial acumen
- You will appreciate reporting into a direct and supportive Regional Manager who will give you plenty of autonomy
- You're comfortable with coaching sales staff and enjoy growing existing customers as well as seeking out and securing new business
- You are extremely customer centric the customer is at the forefront of your decision making
