We are looking for a motivated Scrum Master to join our team, where you will be working within the IT team across Infrastructure and Application squads.
This is your opportunity to join us and make a meaningful contribution to our Agile journey and to Toitū Te Whenua's wider transformation to deliver more value for New Zealand.

**He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience**:
You'll draw on your previous experience as a Scrum Master to support teams operating in an Agile environment (or wanting to operate in an Agile environment) to empower those squads to self-organise, self-manage, and deliver. As a servant leader, you'll champion Agile ways of working as you coach other team members to communicate, coordinate, and cooperate; to meet their delivery goals.
This is a ‘leading with influence' role and your knowledge and guidance will be an important contributor to our organisation's Agile journey.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Coaching and educating the squads and others in the project around Agile ways of working, practices and principles.
- Resolving impediments for the squad by actively addressing and blocking any issues that are beyond their authority, or which may require support from other teams.
- Supporting the Product Owner/Business Owner to ensure the product backlog is in good shape and prioritised.
- Holding squads accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, helping them to identify, mitigate and resolve issues/risks, and ensuring they comply with any reporting requirements.
- Organising and facilitating the Agile ceremonies.
- Building the Agile capability within the IT group.
The annual salary range for this position is $95,846 - $129,674
