We are looking for a team leader to oversee the service delivery to our important client based in the Waikato region - Hamilton and around areas. This pivotal operational role is to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, support the leadership team and the seamless running of the day-to-day team, and oversee the area operations You will have the overall responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the cleaning team and contracts in a manner to satisfy H&S, Employment Quality, and Contract Cost Control requirements.

Flexibility is key as this is NOT a 9am to 5pm job, Monday to Friday role.

Essential duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:

- Managing and supervising the cleaning team
- Establishing and maintaining a working relationship with all staff
- Train all team members and evaluate their performance
- Set team goals and evaluate team progress
- Keeping track of all work tasks, team members and documents
- Responding to client requests as they are received
- Resolving issues as they are identified by clients and staff
- Understanding and responding promptly to the client requirements by promoting and maintaining close communication
- Understanding and ensuring that H&S obligations and responsibilities are being followed in the workplace
- Ensuring service delivery exceeds the expectations of our client in accordance with the specifics of the contract
- End of week/month reporting to be completed.
- Able to meet deadlines as required.
- 2+ years experience in a similar role - any Industry
- Experience in cleaning or related industry
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- A great team player who is reliable and self sufficient
- Ability to prioritise workload to achieve client satisfaction
- Ability to encourage and lead staff
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- The ability to be adaptable and keep cool under pressure
- Being able to make effective decisions - particularly on-site
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures and promote the compliance of others

You will be required to work at least 35 hours per week and will be offered $55K - $57K annual salary based on qualifications and experience.
