We are now on the hunt for lifeguards to join the team at He Puna Taimoana.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team, lead from the front, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Located in New Brighton, the hot pools are a unique drawcard for locals and visitors to relax and unwind. He Puna Taimoana features five pools, ranging in temperature, plus a cold water plunge pool, steam room, sauna, and café.

Take your experience within an aquatic environment to the next level and showcase your leadership skills and operations knowledge. Excellent customer service is one of our top priorities and you'll share our vision, making sure every customer who enters our facility has a great time and leaves with a smile on their face. You'll be a natural when it comes to problem-solving and thinking on your feet, and you'll know how to be a part of great solutions.

**About you**:
You are a rich source of information and have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. You demonstrate an excellent level of guest care to ensure a memorable experience for everyone who visits the facility. You'll be working closely with another Supervisor and Aquatic Team leader but also be capable of working independently.

**Key parts of the process**:

- To progress to the next stage, you must be able to pass this swim test. Our friendly team will give you tips for your test, so come and give it a go
- If you already hold a PLPC you will not need to attend the Lifeguard assessment day.
- If you progress to the training and assessment stage and do not hold a current comprehensive first-aid certificate, then you will need to have this booked and completed by **6 October.**
- Swim tests will be held at Jellie Park - 295 Ilam Rd.
- If you are successful at the interview, you will be notified and required to undertake **two full days of Lifeguard training and one day for assessment** at Taiora QEII. Training and assessment dates are below;
- _Lifeguard training 10_th_ & 11_th_ October, Assessment 17_th_ October_
- _ Lifeguard training 19_th_ & 20_th_ October, Assessment 26_th_ October_
