About the role
Our Finance Team plays a pivotal part in directing the performance of the Agency, to ensure that the financial aspect of the agency is well managed in an efficient, effective, timely and customer focused manager. We work as an extension of all departments in the agency to provide timely and accurate information to help govern its performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounting tasks such as timesheets, bank reconciliation and finance documents
- Work closely with Account Service Staff to ensure billings are accurate, timely, client focused and maximise revenue
- Analyse, report and present information when required to continually improve the business and its results
- Manage job profitability, be alert to and manage over-runs and write-offs
- Filing and calculation of FBT Returns, NRWT Returns, GST Returns, PAYE Payments
- Ensure prompt resolution of client billing queries with account management
Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Proven ability to juggle multiple jobs whilst maintaining good attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills as a team player
- A passion for creativity and doing great work
- Ability to think beyond execution and to offer solutions rather than problems
- Resilience and being calm under pressure
- Thrive in a busy environment
- Possess strong communication and presentation skills
- Be well organised, self-starting and able to prioritise work effectively
- Be a natural collaborator and people person; participating fully as an integral member of the team, working co-operatively and collaboratively with the team and wider agency
- Demonstrate a high level of commitment and support to both Colenso and the team
