We are seeking a suitably qualified, enthusiastic, culturally competent, motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join the Crisis Assessment Home Treatment Team.

**Mōu | About you**

**We are looking for someone who**:

- Has effective skills in written and verbal communication with excellent clinical documentation skills
- Demonstrates advanced mental health and risk assessment skills.
- Is considered a clinical expert / role model and leader in mental health. Has a proven ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and professional work ethic with the ability to share knowledge and give and receive constructive feedback
- Experience and willingness to be involved in developing and implementing standards of nursing practice in the specific area of practice
- Experience and willingness to be involved in the development of pathways, protocols, and guidelines in the specific area of practice
- Is committed to working with bicultural processes and to the development of service users focussed services
- Has an understanding of Māori inequity
- Brings a critical thinking lens to the role.
- Applies evidence based practice as per clinical guidelines
