Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Registered nurse with orthopaedic experience to join our Surgical Resource Nursing Team at Waikato Hospital.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist role is based in Acute Orthopaedics.
Key Responsibilities Supports the acute orthopaedic patient journey both as an acute inpatient and those waiting at home for acute surgery Provides clinical support/guidance for patients and staff Supports the management of orthopaedic patients in non-orthopaedic wards Updates education resources, policies, and procedures The role is part of the Surgical Resource Nurses committed to providing a supportive team alongside the Orthopaedic Service to provide excellent care for our patients and whānau.
Minimum Requirements A proficient or expert Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years experience ideally in Orthopaedics Post-graduate qualification or working towards A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work independently Adaptability, flexibility, and agility If you are an enthusiastic, motivated nurse and believe this opportunity is for you, we welcome your application.
