**About The opportunity | Ko te āheinga**:
We have an exciting opening for a Fixed Term (until October 2025) full time human resources practitioner to join our team as a HR Advisor, covering parental leave. This is a diverse role where you will actively partner with our organisation to develop, advise, and support people leaders across the full spectrum of human resources. This fantastic opportunity will allow you to bring your advisory talents and play a key role in optimising Council’s employee experience though supporting workforce performance, enhancing employee engagement, and upskilling and empowering our people. You will work collaboratively across Council to deliver practical HR solutions in an organisation dedicated to the sustainable management of our precious natural resources.

You will bring specialist expertise across key HR functions, including recruitment, people solutions, employment relations, performance management and more You are a committed professional, driven by a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating positive change.
