**This position reports to**:
HR Business Partner

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this part-time role (approximately 30 hours per week) you will have the opportunity to play an integral role enhancing the human resource experience for all employees at our Napier site. Each day, you will provide a best-in-class employee and manager HR service and support. You will showcase your expertise by facilitating the resolution of employee and manager questions, concerns, and transactions. Moreover, a significant portion of this role will include the recruitment of production and manufacturing employees. The work model for this part-time role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid. We offer flexibility with work hours, start and finish times, and more. This role is contributing to the Power Protection Product Group in Napier. You will be mainly accountable for: -Leading the end-to-end recruitment process for manufacturing based positions. -Assisting "walk-in/call-in" support for employee and manager incidents and questions about payroll, benefits, and other HR needs. -Leading the site wellbeing initiatives, collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure employee wellbeing is supported by the business. -Supporting learning and development projects, including employee engagement, diversity, equity & inclusion and change management. -Supporting HR Business Partner with annual cycles and special projects such as job architecture, data maintenance, succession planning, talent development, etc. Our team dynamics: ABB offers a global environment where you will collaborate with teams in our Power Protection businesses in the US and Switzerland to assist implementing global initiatives. **Qualifications for the role**:

- You enjoy working in a high-paced environment in the manufacturing sector.
- You have 2+ years of experience in an HR Advisory role with strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and employment law.
- Highly adept in MS Suite, SAP or similar ERP, other HRIS platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or relevant experience
- You are at ease communicating in English. You possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication and confidence in small group workshops and presentations.
