The School of Clinical Sciences has multiple permanent part-time positions available for Clinical Educators in Nursing. These positions are annualised.

We require nurse educators to fill the clinical positions. The successful applicants will be expected to contribute to clinical education in the Bachelor of Health Science (Nursing) and Master of Nursing Science programmes. To be considered for the positions applicants must have a minimum of a PG certificate in a qualification relating to Nursing. There is an expectation that the appointees will contribute to the development of clinical learning within nursing at AUT.

Applicants will have a current NCNZ practising certificate and recent New Zealand clinical experience. They will embrace the vision and values of the school and commit to ongoing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.

The positions will work alongside students including Māori and Pacific students so a high level of cultural sensitivity is desired, along with knowledge of kawa and tikanga Māori and mātauranga Māori (Māori knowledge).

The successful applicants will:

- Model best clinical practice
- Inspire and support students' achievement
- Communicate effectively
- Be clinically current in New Zealand
- Have IT skills

**Salary Range**: $72,000 - $95,000 Pro-rata (appointment level and salary commensurate with skills and experience)
