**We are looking for a Grocery Floor Manager to join our team at Gilmours Central in Palmerston North**

At Gilmours, we are trying to provide excellent service, giving exactly what our customers need and be the trusted foodservice provider of NZ. We are looking for a **Grocery Floor Manager** to help us deliver on those promises via our in-store replenishment team.

The Role;
- Create, drive and deliver awesome in-store customer experiences through shop presentation and stock availability
- Oversee a massive range of thousand's of products comprised of Grocery, General Merch and Liquor
- Grow your team by creating an awesome place to work and progress
- Advise on the branch’s long-term strategy and then execute it on a day-to-day basis
- In a fast paced environment - you’ll connect with your people every day to chase great in-store display standards to earn customer loyalty and satisfaction

What are we looking for;
- Strong presentation standards - Appearance in a retail store is everything
- An ability to listen, advise and come up with commercially savvy, customer driven, dynamic solutions
- Proven Leadership capability you can demonstrate, with the mixed roles of the team, it’s not always easy
- The ability to self-motivate and manage alongside the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Understand the commercial side of a grocery store and ultimately, think customer and team first

Tasks involved;
- Manage Grocery replenishment team members and in-store standards
- Staff recruitment, rostering, coaching, performance management and disciplinary procedures.
- Identify and improve department processes, planning and best practices
- Oversee the presentation of goods on our shelves and displays ensuring quick replenishment and storage of inbound pallets
- Your team operates both early and late, 7 days a week, with the crew primarily built during in-store opening hours - a successful person in the position would gravitate to the hours where their team needs them most as flexibility will be given
