An exciting management opportunity has just become available at New World Feilding. We are seeking a Grocery Manager to lead our Grocery team and enhance our Grocery department for our valued customers.

It is a full time, permanent position.

The Grocery Manager's role consists of but not limited to assisting to help maximise sales whilst managing expenses, stock levels, out of stocks, wastage, creating/maintaining rosters, ensuring all elements of health and safety and food safety are adhered too, training team members and managing the team so that our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience.
- Experience in supermarket management, extensive grocery experience or other managerial experience.
- Experience supervising and leading people.
- Self-motivated individual with a great work ethic
- Organised with the ability to plan well and maintain organisational structures and procedures
- Able to work within the parameters of a Food Safety Program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst placing emphasis on Health and Safety policies and procedures
- You’ll be working alongside your team each day so need to be physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.

What are we looking for;
- An ability to listen, advise and come up with customer driven, solutions
- Leadership capability you can demonstrate, with 40+ people in the grocery team it's not always easy
- The ability to self-motivate and manage alongside the ability to balance priorities
- Understand the commercial side a retail business
