**About the role**:
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with critical and analytical thinking skills and self-motivation to empower data driven decision making within Genesis. In this role, you will be a trusted business partner to the Corporate Business Units; responsible for the end-to-end financial management of the Customer Service and Customer Operations team, focused on helping the business understand and interpret financial results and drive performance improvement through the delivery of valuable financial and commercial insights, analytics, and advice.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Business Partnering with the Customer Service and Customer Operations teams. Support the Group Platform Owners and their leadership teams to drive better commercial decisions and optimise financial performance.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy of Customer Service and Customer Operations financial results, reporting, and providing advice to improve decision making. Key focus is on interpreting and communicating financial results and reporting for the units, with a focus on critical appraisal of performance and providing advice on financial matters to improve decision making, commercial outcomes and the knowledge of business managers. Aim to continuously improve transparency and understanding of financial performance.
- Responsible for delivering transparent and value add annual budget and ongoing forecasts for the Group Platform owners. Identify actional insights from trends, issues, opportunities and risks relevant to the business and ensure these are incorporated into business plans.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement with Group Platform owner - Customer Operations and Group Platform owner - Customer Service. Develop a deep relationship based on trust and respect that balances challenging and supporting the business.
- Relentlessly drive and execute automation efforts to streamline and remove inefficient, manual, and time-consuming processes. Objective is to accelerate a shift from process intensive work tasks to value-add, insights and decision support.

**About you**:

- A minimum of 5 +years' commercial experience in financial analysis or management accounting role
- Experience in financial modelling and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal, including a proven ability to translate to non-financial stakeholders.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with exposure to TM1 and Power BI experience.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or similar relevant discipline.
- Qualified CA or equivalent preferred.
