**About the Role**:
Reporting to the First Response Operations Team Lead, you'll be a highly motivated and technically confident individual, with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as a strong desire for improvement and self-development.

As a L2 Support Engineer you'll be accountable for maintaining a secure and highly available environment for our managed clients, services, and core infrastructure; working across a range of network infrastructure and security technologies.

**Day to day you will**:

- Diagnose and Fix Incidents within Service Level agreement.
- Liaise with Vendor for TAC Support and failed Hardware Replacement.
- Create and Implement Network and Firewall changes as per business operations requirements.
- Perform software upgrades and SSL certificate updates as part of proactive maintenance.
- Develop and support procedures, processes, and code to increase the efficiency and operational capability.

**What experience you'll bring**:

- Demonstrable experience working within a related or similar role - i.e. Network Operations, Security Operations, Network Engineering.
- Proficient in Check Point, Juniper, Fortinet Firewall and Cisco routing, switching and wireless technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and outside business hours.
- Empathy and tolerance toward clients and colleagues.

Other additional nice-to-have skills include experience in operating and maintaining Load Balancers and Proxies and familiar with CISCO ISE and DNA solution.
