**The Role**
As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, maintenance, and safety of our zone substations, as well as:
- Manage and supervise a team of technicians and electrical fitters in the zone substation department
- Coordinate and schedule daily operations, including maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Perform regular inspections to assess the condition of equipment and identify any potential issues
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
- Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and equipment
- Prepare reports on substation performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents

**About you**
You’ll either be an experienced Electrical Fitter, Technician, or someone with strong experience in industrial or commercial electricity space and looking to step-up. To be successful in this role, you will also have some or all of the following:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a technician or electrical fitter in a similar role
- Valid EWRB (Electrical Workers Registration Board) license
- Strong knowledge of zone substations, electrical systems, and related equipment
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call duties when required
