**What you’ll be doing**:
You will lead a small team delivering payroll services and processing to ensure an accurate and timely payroll service to our employment’s whist meeting business and legislative requirements.

You’ll have your hands full managing the ongoing development of the payroll function including process improvement and service enhancement as well as working collaboratively with the wider People and Culture team.

**What you’ll bring to the table**:
Are you a highly experienced and passionate Payroll professional with a track record of delivering excellence for your customer. In order to lead the payroll, function you will need:

- Well-developed team leadership skills with the ability to impart a collaborative service delivery ethic.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in a senior New Zealand payroll position with experience in end-to-end payroll operations.
- Deep understanding of New Zealand employment and payroll related legislation including the Holidays Act 2003, Employment Relations Act 2000 and the Kiwisaver Act 2006 with their respective further amendments.
- Experience in SAP Payroll preferable and Spinifex IT a bonus
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Foster a growth mindset and a team open to new ways of doing things.
