Harper Smith are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor/Foreman with electrical certification and experience running Electrical teams. It is a 2 year project (approx) on the Taranaki Hospital.
Reporting to a Site Manager you will be joining an strong well established NZ company who will provide support and guidance throughout the project.
This project is a complete new build, green field site on existing hospital grounds, generally it will be 7-5 Monday - Friday, so standard work hours.

- Leading a team of in house and contractor electricians
- Reporting through to the Site Manager
- Plan and monitor tasks/projects and materials for electricians and apprentices
- Manage and ordering electrical parts and materials
- Monitor productivity of workers
- Hands on electrical work where required
- Stock management
- Electrical drawings,
- Build switchboards, breakers etc
- Perform electrical calculations

It is expected you will bring:

- A passion for building and maintaining customer relationships.
- A history of fostering high performing teams
- A strong focus on fostering a safe and healthy work culture.
- Proficiency with reading and interpreting specifications, contract documents and plans of proposed work as well as being able to produce layout drawings for projects.
- A proactive approach, dedicated to prompt and professional service.
- Some computer literacy
