- **The role**
As a **Patroller** with Northpower, you will identify and prioritize issues with transmission lines and vegetation to keep our systems running smoothly. Your attention to detail and help in planning work will be key to our success. Join us and be part of our team. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be based in either Rotorua or Hamilton.
- You will need to demonstrate the following:
- Conduct routine patrol inspections for the regional service contract
- Keen attention to detail for identifying and prioritizing defects
- Proficient in updating and maintaining landowner details
- Skilled in using the Trimble system for recording access tracks
- Ability to document third-party activities and complete necessary paperwork
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the region

**What we’re looking for?**
We’re seeking an experienced Assessor with up-to-date registration and competencies, also, who has a clean Class 1 full driver’s license and have the following skills:
- Proven 2 - 3 years of experience in Transmission or Arboriculture is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent technical aptitude
- Self-driven and able to work independently
- Relevant Transmission certifications and qualifications
- Preferred Transpower competencies
- Reliability and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices
- Positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a cohesive team
