About the RoleYou will mainly be responsible for conducting prototype or laboratory tests following prescribed procedures. You will learn to build equipment and/or perform basic material or environmental tests using basic techniques with electrical/electronic, chemical, and mechanical equipment.This position reports to the Lab Supervisor and will be based at our operations in New Plymouth, NZ.Key ResponsibilitiesCalibration and maintenance of equipmentHousekeeping within the laboratoryReceiving, labelling, and safely storing samples to be testedEntering the quality results into programs so product and quality can be reportedCleans and maintains lab equipmentComplies with all regulatory safety compliance and supports safety initiativesRole RequirementsTertiary qualification in Chemistry or related disciplinesStrong focus on hygiene and HSE awarenessWorking knowledge of ChemistryGood computer and communication skillsWhy Join Halliburton?We are looking for the right people — people who want to innovate, achieve, grow and lead.
