To help us achieve excellence, it is essential our logistics offering is optimised and aligned to the business strategy and requirements.

The opportunity

As we embark on large-scale transformation, we are looking to employ an experienced Logistics Planner based at our Global Headquarters in Auckland to contribute, help design and redefine our Global Supply Chain Network.

The successful applicant will be collaborating with internal and external supply chain partners, reviewing and analysing manufacturing and shipping plans and available capacities, looking at opportunities to smooth volumes and reduce cost where possible. Making recommendations & decisions clear and transparent through reporting and use of analytics and data.

At the core of the role is planning and coordinating the supply and logistics of material to factories, and factories and suppliers to DCs and customers in our global markets, on time and in the most cost-effective manner available.

Responsibilities include shipping at contract/spot, balancing weekly allocation between country ports, network design recommendations.

You will work with the Global Supply Chain (Logistics and Distribution, Production Scheduling, Purchasing, Operational Excellence), Global Procurement, Market Operations, Executive, with the opportunity to contribute and help design a Global Supply Chain Network as we embark on a large-scale transformation.

You will have an inherent eagerness & desire to seek answers from those around you, you’ll be self-motivated and sustaining, honest about your limitations, clear and succinct when it comes to communication

You will have a deep knowledge of shipping/ocean freight market and trade dynamics, manufacturing planning experience.

Your hard skills will include Microsoft Power BI, Teams, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Highly Proficient/Expert level required) JD Edwards, Salesforce, MS Visio (can train on job - but ERP (SAP/MS Dynamics) experience highly desirable).

These skills will be put to good use as we begin to transform and redesign our Global Supply Chain Network, Global Fulfilment Centre, End to End Planning, ERP and Planning platform, and our business model.
