**About the role**:
This is a people-leadership position with responsibility for three Senior HR Advisors and one HR Support Administrator.

Working alongside People and Culture’s Strategic Business Partners, your team will provide targeted support to specified senior leadership teams, ensuring that leaders have the tools and support they need to succeed. You’ll lead your team to develop Group people plans, use business and people insights to identify opportunities and solve challenges, progress Group-specific initiatives, and develop and test Group-specific hypothesis.

This team is portfolio based and your role will be to support the Senior HR Advisors to support their portfolios across ACC. You will report directly to the Head of People and Culture Strategy, Planning and Performance.

This is a fantastic role for someone looking to develop their career in HR leadership. It provides the opportunity to develop your people-leadership experience, bring your experience and expertise to day-to-day problem solving, and support your team to deliver the best outcomes.

Please note this is a Wellington-based role and not suitable for remote working.

**About you**:
We are looking for an experienced HR generalist who is looking for the next step in their career. A high-level operator who is comfortable dealing with all manner of HR-related matters. An energetic problem solver who is interested in making an impact to a newly established team.

People-leadership experience will be sought after but not essential. We’ll consider someone with extensive senior, generalist HR experience who understands the requirements for, and can demonstrate their understanding of, the essential elements of leadership and is looking for their next step. An example would be someone who has acted in a leadership capacity and is eager to take the next step as a fully-fledged people leader.

You will have:

- Extensive HR generalist experience - minimum 7 years, with at least two at a senior level
- Technical HR experience - HR lifecycle, people experience, etc
- People leadership experience is preferred but not essential

**Working at ACC**:
The base salary range for this role is $114,022 to $160,972 with starting salary depending on skills and experience of the successful applicant. ACC also offers additional 9% superannuation.
