**Social Media and Content Specialist**

The role of the Social Media and Content Specialist is to drive deeper customer engagement through all Restaurant Brands NZ social media channels. Through comprehensive social community management, creative campaign strategy, engaging content and effective management of campaign performance.

**What the role involves**:

- Manage the planning, development and implementation of all communications and content for owned social channels ahead of any product or brand campaign launch
- Provide input into and manage the execution of the overall social media strategy for all brands
- Plan, create and maintain the social media content for all brands in collaboration with our brand team
- Own the social media content calendar, explore and test new/enhanced social media platforms, apps, reporting tools or relevant social technology that fit RBL and brand business objectives.
- Co-ordinate the production of social content including photoshoots, content editing, internal approval and scheduling
- Work with the Digital Content Specialist on end-to-end content creation, including image retouching, basic video editing and copywriting.
- Update and implement content as required across all owned channels throughout campaign periods
- Work closely with the Brand Marketing Managers and the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to ensure retail offers, activations or other real time events are executed on social channels
- Incorporate trending topics as well as marketing initiatives into all social communications keeping on relevant brand tone
- Weekly and monthly social media performance tracking and reporting, including consumer insights and sentiment, POD campaign performance and competitor social media activities..Comprehensive Social Community management across agreed social media channels as required, including escalation of significant cases to our dedicated Customer Care team
- Support the Digital Marketing team with eCommerce and direct marketing platforms when required, including content creation and reviewing, updates and testing.

**Skills and experience**:

- Digital marketing specific qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in related marketing roles, demonstrating expertise with native social media tools
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
- Demonstrated a proactive and innovative approach to managing social media strategy and operations, through both owned and Paid channels
- Experience briefing and managing creative and media agencies
- Good understanding and proven experience in influencer marketing
- Strong planning and time-management ability to efficiently deal with multiple competing priorities
- Is collaborative and consultative with the ability to work cross-functionally and within a team
- Shows creative flair and an eye for design.
- Excellent knowledge of and expertise with native social media tools, especially Facebook Ad Manager and Creative Studio.
- Possess sound commercial acumen and is up to date with digital and design
- Experience with Google Analytics and other consumer insights analysis tools for tracking campaign effectiveness (including Data Studio)
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience creating and testing content through A/B testing to optimise engagement
- Design software experience preferred
- Strong on customer focus to meet both internal and external expectations
