**Job Description Summary**: The Customer Service Representative is responsible for driving a first class order management process, for working directly with customers to answer queries and resolve issues, and for building strong relationships with internal teams.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for driving a first class order management process, for working directly with customers to answer queries and resolve issues, and for building strong relationships with internal teams.

The role is full-time and will be predominantly based at our Auckland CBD office, with flexible remote-working options available.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Order processing - ensure that customer orders are entered accurately and in accordance with customer requirements into SAP
- Build strong working partnerships with Sales, Supply Chain and Warehousing/Transportation teams
- Manage credits and returns
- Work in compliance with the documented quality system and report any anomalies
- Follow up proactively with customers to keep them informed of ongoing activities
- Act with professionalism, empathy, and integrity at all times
- Be adoptive of change and be flexible and positive in an ever-changing environment
- Prioritize work to ensure critical tasks are completed within the required timeframes
- Work as part of a team to increase and maintain the quality of service
- Adhere to procedures articulated in the Standard Operating Procedures, and escalate any continuous improvement initiatives around processes to the Operations Leader
- Participate positively in team development, through meetings and other planned events

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- 2+ years customer service experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international team environment
- Strong organizational and administration skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills

**Desired Characteristics**:

- An empathic approach to customer service
- Previous SAP experience
- Highly motivated with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Takes initiative to make things happen, identifies what needs to be done and does it.
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
- Experience in triaging critical customer issues
- A calm and analytical approach to problem solving
- A desire to work positively as part of a team and contribute to a positive team culture and happy work environment
