The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Site Engineer to join the Fulton Hogan team in Christchurch.

Reporting to the Civil Construction Divisional Manager you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience gained to-date to progress your career. You will need to show passion for delivering excellence, strong self-management and accuracy in your work to be successful in this role.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll be:

- Assisting the Department managers, in the day to day operations of the Minor Construction and Landscaping departments
- Ensure that the work is completed in compliance with appropriate specifications, legislative requirements and company policy
- Ensure site crews, sub-contractors and plant are managed through good planning and effective communication and co-ordination

What you’ll bring to the table

We’re looking for someone with tertiary qualifications in the field of Engineering, and of course be passionate and ready to continue building your career.
- Tertiary qualified Civil Engineer with at least 3 years experience
- on-site project experience
- Strong self-management
- Ability to mediate to resolve issues swiftly and calmly
