We are looking for a motivated Site Engineer to join the Fulton Hogan team in Christchurch. Reporting to the Projects Divisional Manager you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience gained to-date to progress your career. You will need to show passion for delivering excellence, strong self-management and accuracy in your work to be successful in this role.

In addition to the above you will:

- Assist the Project managers and project engineers, in the day-to-day operations of the projects division
- Ensure that the work is completed in compliance with appropriate specifications, legislative requirements and company policy
- Ensure site crews, sub-contractors and plant are managed through good planning and effective communication and co-ordination

We’re looking for someone with:

- Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years experience
- On-site project experience
- Strong self-management skills
- A proactive approach towards Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority
- The ability to mediate to resolve issues swiftly and calmly
