Senior Analyst roles in the Operational Policy and Planning Team in the Māori and Communities Group

One permanent role and One two year fixed term/secondment opportunity focussing on disability issues in the FVSV sector

Te āhua o te tūranga / About the roles
In our work we make a real and positive difference for communities through the services we invest in and the support we give. As a Senior Operational Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for providing operational policy advice and support for developing and improving social services for New Zealanders from inception through to implementation.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako / Skills and experience
These fast-paced positions are in an achievement focused workplace. We are looking for a broad skillset - key will be your ability to understand how to obtain and present insights from data and evaluation to inform service development and decision making.
Experience or knowledge of funding models, outcomes frameworks and reporting measures, or different evaluation, research and data collection methods, would be an added bonus.
You'll need to be a true relationship builder and effective communicator; someone who thrives on working across teams to develop solutions and builds connections.
Ideally, you'll understand the machinery of government and have had exposure to analysing policy through a Treaty of Waitangi/ Te Tiriti o Waitangi lens, but if you can tick the above requirements, we're willing to teach and grow you in these areas.

Position Description

**Salary range**: $99,546.00 - $120,778.00
