We need a **Fire Equipment Technician **to join our team

**As our Fire Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for**:

- Sell and service Fire Equipment, provide / offer training and related products to existing and prospective customers including commercial, industrial, governmental and other organisations.
- Maintain and develop existing customer relationships and to ensure all work carried out meets agreed quality standards.
- Train clients in our various Fire Equipment Training Courses.
- Attain budgeted sales and service targets, ensuring where possible, there is a direct focus on selling or promoting training internally and externally at agreed price structure.
- Working unsupervised on systems that are both vital to keeping our customers safe and are also highly regulated so all works need to be completed not just to exacting regulations but to the higher standards that Wormald pride themselves in.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Our Products sell themselves - no need for Sales experience
- We train all our technicians and provide the opportunity to attain NZQA Fire Industry qualifications that will provide you with confidence that you are delivering the highest standards.
- We work with complex low voltage alarm systems so we need someone with an understanding of what will be required.
- Someone who will take real pride in their work that does great work even in areas where the client will never see it, someone who can work unsupervised and not just do what is on their work order but look at a job and assess if they are doing the right thing and leaving an alarm system that is fit for purpose.
