The purpose of this team is to ‘Transform How Fonterra Makes Decisions for an Enduring Future’ via more powerful and accessible data driven decision tools and the knowledge and training to use them.

This team will deliver “Data & Analytics as a Service”, which means this team will have the mandate and responsibility of managing this data, the corresponding business tools and the training and capability development required to step change our decision-making processes.

In this newly created role, you will unlock the power of data by joining a dynamic, technically skilled team that leads the way in creating, delivering, and supporting cutting-edge B2B data solutions.

Reporting into the Head of B2B Analytics, you'll work on the development and delivery of high-impact data products that drive insights for our Foodservice and Ingredients channels—helping the business make smarter decisions.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Building, developing and managing our B2B data products
- Owning, developing and managing technical relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing and developing members of the Data Analytics team to ensure they develop skills, knowledge and competencies
- Contributing thought leadership about how to build our technology and data infrastructure
- Planning, managing and delivering the pipeline of data products and requirements

**About you | **Ko wai koe**

You’re a data-driven professional with a foundation in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. With hands-on experience in SQL, Python, or R, you excel at building and architecting robust data analytics solutions on platforms like MS Azure and/or AWS. Your expertise in Data Engineering foundations enables you to design, develop, and optimise complex analytics solutions that drive business insights.

From creating technical roadmaps to building out end-to-end data solutions, you’re skilled at translating data into meaningful strategies that add real business value. You thrive on collaborating with stakeholders, leveraging your analytics expertise to turn business challenges into data-driven opportunities.

With your passion for innovation and commitment to excellence, you’ll be the key player we need to help shape the future of data-driven decision-making.
