**Mō mātou | About Us**

The role of the Internal Audit | Arotake ā-roto team is to provide independent, meaningful, and insightful assurance services to the organisation. As a partner across the organisation the Internal Audit team adds real value, going beyond compliance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and works proactively to help manage risk.

**Mō te tūnga | About this role**

Reporting to either the Principal Audit Manager or Manager Integrity and Coordination, you will be one of 3 Audit Advisors in a team of 11 Internal Auditors, delivering advisory and internal audit services. You will also work alongside the Audit Intelligence team of 3, who will support you with the deeper analytics skills required to deliver your work.

As an Audit Advisor, you’ll assist in the planning and delivery of high-quality assurance engagements, as well as monitoring and reporting on the NZDF probity and integrity system. You will find creative ways to identify and influence continuous improvement, over time becoming adept in the areas of Process Improvement, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Governance Systems, Change Management, Financial Management, Probity and Integrity Systems.

You will bring:

- Passion, motivation and the ability to work well in a team
- Experience within risk, assurance, integrity or business advisory
- A knack for solving problems and an inquisitive mind-set
- Good communication and people skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification

While 2-3 years’ experience is ideal, we are delighted to hear from individuals who are highly motivated and passionate, and who may have varying levels of experience.
