We are looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Body Builder or Coach Builder to join our close-knit team based in Te Rapa, Hamilton.

Reporting to the Operations Manager - Commercial and a team of experts focused on detail and quality. You will skillfully craft purpose-built vehicles inclusive of law enforcement vehicles, emergency response vehicles, and luxury coaches. Working with an extensive range of materials including sheet metal fabrication, cabinet making, and vehicle and parts assembly you will play a key role in delivering high-quality and detailed work on our journey to becoming a market leader.

**What will your day-to-day look like?**
- Interpreting vehicle drawings and plans, measuring, marking out, altering, making, and fitting framing, panels, and components according to specifications, and repairing components and panels.
- Installation, modification, repairs, and maintenance specific to bespoke vehicles and other associated equipment.
- Manufacturing and assembling of custom vehicle parts. - Fabrication and coachbuilding.
- Cutting, shaping, and TIG and MIG welding on sheet metal and aluminum.
- Modifying vehicles, building, assembling, and fitting various bespoke assemblies’ parts and components to vehicles.

**What do you need?**
- Level 4 National Certificate in Motor Industry Coachbuilding or 3 years of industry experience in coachbuilding or building purpose-built vehicles.
- Experience in multiple areas and working with a variety of materials e.g. Welding, Building, Panel beating.
- Ability to interpret and follow plans, technical drawings, and instructions.
- Sound technical skills, outstanding work ethic, and most importantly safety conscious.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Class 1 driver's license.
- A continual improvement mindset to help build processes and systems to improve productivity as a team.
