As the Programme Manager you will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering high-quality results. This is a new role in a growing company so the focus will be on working closely with the Programme Director to set up programmes, systems, processes as well as optimisation for site build and upgrade programmes across Connexa.
You’ll be joining a fast-growing team in a newly established company where you’ll be a part of our journey, shaping the ways of working and co-creating the culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage the planning and execution of a portfolio of projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer and business goals and objectives
- Developing and maintaining a programme view of projects, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Lead and enable cross-functional teams and facilitate effective collaboration and communication
- Proactively manage programme risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary
- Managing programme escalations effectively across delivery
- Monitor and report on programme progress, providing updates to customers, stakeholders and senior leadership
- Provide strategic guidance and direction to ensure successful programme delivery
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, external partners and vendors
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise programme delivery processes and methodologies
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards
**Requirements**:
You’ll have:
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager, delivering complex projects and initiatives
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Experience across Construction, IT, Telecommunications, or Infrastructure desirable but not mandatory
- Experience across multiple delivery methods (Waterfall, Agile & Lean)
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Fantastic communication skills in all formats
- A creative approach to problem-solving
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- A recognition and embrace of differences and diversity in the workplace
- A growth mindset and desire for continuous improvement
