We are actively recruiting for a dynamic and proactive Office Manager to join our client, located in the CBD. This pivotal role is integral to the smooth operation of the business, with a focus on maintaining viability, improving efficiency, and adding value to the organisation. As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including administrative support, facilities management, and operational coordination. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the office functions effectively and efficiently.

We are actively seeking a highly motivated and ambitious professional to take on an exciting and multifaceted role as part of our client’s team. As the Office Manager, you will not only oversee the smooth operation of the office but also be involved in various other areas, including accounts management, client relationships, and acting as the second-in-command (2IC) in the absence of the Regional Manager.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skill set and take on additional responsibilities, making it an ideal position for someone looking to step up and grow in their career. As the 2IC, you will be entrusted with key decision-making and leadership responsibilities, ensuring the continuity of operations, and maintaining strong client relationships.

**Some of the tasks and responsibilities include**:

- Banking for East Street exchange, Cash handling and management, reimbursements and reconciliations
- Mail collection
- Management of term deposit reinvestments etc
- Manage invoices for payment, using XERO, maintain relationships with suppliers (if you have XERO experience that’s great, If not full training will be provided)
- Liaise with accountant re invoices and financial management matters
- Support the annual audit process by responding to enquiries and maintaining good administrative systems and record keeping
- Oversee payments and management of leases, their terms and relationships with landlords, in conjunction with other Managers
- Oversee repair and maintenance requirements for premises
- Maintain compliance with fire regulations
- Security: manage security companies’ responsibility for alarm systems etc, manage security re key holders
- Monthly stock take, Stock ordering and other supplies
- Generate reports as required
- Payroll tasks: liaise with managers and company accountant who do the payroll regarding timesheets, leave balances, general queries, review of weekly payroll prepared by our accountant

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday ideally, they are super flexbile on hours and how they are worked.
