VisionPlus Technical Analyst
**What does a successful VisionPlus Technical Analyst do at Fiserv?**
As a Vision_PLUS_ SME, you will be expected to assist in the analysis and design, as well as the development, documentation and implementation of new features or new information processing systems in support of the direction set by corporate management, under the guidance of senior technical staff.
You will be expected to provide technical assistance to Vision_PLUS_ Services employees where requested. You will be expected to be an expert in aspects of the Vision_PLUS_ product line and mainframe platform, with the aim of growing the breadth of these skills with experience. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of business systems issues as well as demonstrate superior competency of systems analysis and programming.
This opportunity sits within our onsite team, fulltime at our client’s Auckland CBD headquarters.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 NZD
**What you will do**:
- This role will also include being part of a 24x7 on-call production support roster
- Completing development and projects in accordance with project requirements and internal and external client expectations and established standards
- Work on complex projects and issues within functional/technical area under guidance of senior technical staff
- Knowledge transfer to team members and client, as well as creating quality technical documentation
- Participate in all aspects of service delivery and project achievements
- Adhere to the client requirements and strict SLA’s
- Will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle
- Strive to provide system continuous improvements
**What you will need to have**:
- Proven technical skills with Vision_PLUS _with “hands-on” development experience
- Expert knowledge in COBOL and mainframe tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience and understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
