Trainee Medical Laboratory Pre Analytical Technician - Microbiology/Biochemistry
- Casual role

Te Whatu Ora, Waitematā District Laboratory has an exciting opportunity for a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Scientist Trainee who is currently completing their clinical placement in 2023 and specialising in both Microbiology and Biochemistry.
You will be part of a friendly, dynamic and culturally diverse team working together and committed to providing best care for everyone.
Your primary role would be assisting with administration tasks, pre-analytical handling, loading and processing of laboratory samples.

**The applicant must have**:

- Completion of BMLS third year specialising in Microbiology and Biochemistry
- Working towards registration with the New Zealand Medical Sciences Council and obtaining an annual practising certificate as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to participate in supervised shift work.
