80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE)

We are looking for a dedicated ACC manager with the ability to actively lead, set, manage and monitor the ACC revenue stream, proactively working with service managers and clinical staff to ensure that the organisation meets its contractual obligations with ACC, maximises ACC revenue and to provide line management support and leadership to the ACC Co-ordinator/s who liaise between the organisation and ACC to ensure that the organisation meets these obligations.

You will work closely with commissioning, support services, finance and patient safety and quality colleagues to develop and monitor ACC processes.

Your day would involve, but not limited to:

- Accountable for development, implementation, and maintenance of an internal ACC framework for patient claims (e.g. acute, non-acute, elective, and treatment injuries).
- Proactively work with business managers and clinical staff to ensure ACC contractual obligations are met and that ACC revenue is maximised.
- Ensure that all ACC revenue opportunities are consistently explored.
- Ensure that all ACC claims are submitted in a timely manner, liaising closely with Accounts Payable to ensure ACC revenue is invoiced accurately and promptly.
- Manage ACC billing to ensure bulk of backlog does not exceed 2 months.
- Oversees, investigates and resolves ACC rejections.
- Establish and agree, and implement measures and monitoring of each ACC contract. Distribute monthly to stakeholders.
- Ensure that any required clinical reports/documentation is followed up and submitted to ACC in a timely manner
