**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Haematology team in a full-time fixed term role at LabPlus, Auckland City Hospital. This position would be suitable for a newly registered MLS as well as those with more experience. Staff will gain experience working in the Haematology laboratory and may take part in the 24/7 roster as experience allows. This is an opportunity to work with New Zealand’s largest and most highly specialised hospital based laboratory service.

The Haematology Department at LabPLUS provides laboratory tests for the diagnosis and treatment of blood cell and coagulation disorders. Our highly skilled scientific and technical staff work together with a team of haematologists to provide a quality service (paediatric, neonatal and adult) with in depth clinical interpretation. LabPlus has a strong Core Haematology section with specialist testing being done in Special Haematology, Coagulation and Cell Markers.
