**Our Opportunity**:
We are seeking a motivated and hard working Field Merchandising Supervisor to look after our Central Otago Territories. You will manage a team of Merchandisers who support our grocery network with stock replenishment for in store customers. Reporting to the Field Merchandising Manager, you will work with the Merchandising team to ensure a high level of customer service in store and ensure that our Goodman Fielder products have prime shopping position for consumers.

**Key accountabilities of the role include**:

- Execution of merchandising activity and promotions at store level in conjunction with the Field Merchandising Manager
- Manage all people related activities for your team which can include, recruitment & onboarding, payroll administration and on the job training to ensure best practice.
- Build strong, trusting, and effective relationships with Supermarket teams and management as well as the wider Field team and our distributor network
- Execute sales calls within Countdown supermarkets in your territory

Who do we need?
We need someone who can lead people, understands the supermarket sector and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You enjoy being out and about with your team and with our customers, you are hands on in your approach
You need to be resilient it's called FAST MOVING for a reason and change is the only constant. You can work technology and software platforms are easy for you to navigate and pick up as we have some bespoke tools as do our customers.
You need to be a people person as while your focus is your team, you will be liaising with people across multiple stores and the wider Goodman Fielder business.
