**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced people leader to join Immigration New Zealand (INZ) as Team Leader Performance and Reporting in the Chief Operating Officer Immigration Branch.

As Team Leader Performance and Reporting, you will be leading a multi-disciplinary team located across Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. Your key responsibilities will include provision of accurate visa volume and revenue forecasting to the organisation and supporting the development and delivery of the Performance Management Framework. Additionally, you will be working with other Team Leaders within P&R to deliver quality and timely performance and reporting products that inform decision making across the Immigration system, Parliamentary Questions (PQs), Official Information Act requests (OIAs), media query responses, process changes and implementing improvement initiatives. Collaboration is key as you will be working closely with the Manger P&R, National Manager Business Performance as well as the Data Operations unit and the Data Capability team to ensure integrity and quality of data is upheld.

The Performance and Reporting team (P&R) is the reporting engine room for Immigration New Zealand (INZ). P&R respond to Parliamentary Questions (PQs), Ministerial requests, internal requests, media questions, Official Information Act (OIA) requests and a range of other requests. Additionally, the team produce revenue and volume forecasting, bespoke and regular reports that include browser-based dashboards. Further, the team supports INZs Performance Management Framework and tasks allocated by the Incident Management Team.

- Proven experience in successfully leading people, projects, or teams and ensuring key performance indicators are met
- Strong relationship management, influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven experience in gaining buy-in to changes in process, services and new ways of working, while promoting a positive culture
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining an environment focused on continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others
- Excellent written and communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas and analysis to a wider audience
- Experience in reporting and analytics tools such as PowerBI, SQL and SAS or similar
- New Zealand citizen or NZ permanent resident
