**POSITION** - HSEQ Advisor ( Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Advisor )

**Job Purpose** - This position supports the Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor and the Senior Quality Assurance Advisor to ensure that identified health, safety, environment and quality requirements are developed and maintained and complied with by personnel, contractors and stakeholders, as appropriate. Support and seek opportunities to further enhance HSEQ culture and performance through the development, implementation review and maintenance of HSEQ management systems, initiatives and projects.
- Continuously demonstrate personal commitment to Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality to achieve a workplace free from Incidents, discrimination and harassment.
- Help maintain a safe, and healthywork environment for ourselves, each other, contractors, stakeholders (as appropriate) and other persons.
- Assist the senior advisors in drafting, reviewing, and implementing hazard identification, operational risk assessments.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HSEQ improvement and incident reduction plans.
- Assist in the development and delivery of HSEQ training and education programs, as established in the HSEQ strategy. Including induction training, HSEQ Management Systems, and other key initiatives/ communication campaigns, as appropriate.
- Participate and facilitate Incident Investigations,as requested by Senior advisors, and be responsible for reporting, recording, monitoring and closing incidents on our designated information management system.The HSEQ Advisor may be required to lead investigations as directed by the senior advisors.
- Assist with the review of emergency plans, procedures and programs, specifically monitoring of corrective/ preventative actions and record keeping of emergency exercises. Assist with the conducting, recording and reporting of Internal HSEQ audits and inspections, in accordance with the audit and inspection schedule.

**Qualifications preferred**
- Nebosh Internal General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Risk Management or equivalent
- Formal investigation training, such as ICAM, Learning From Incidents (LFI)
- Formal lead or internal auditor training (ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSMS systems)

**Essential**
- Excellent communication skills and highly service orientated.
- Good standard or writing and reporting.
- MS Office competent.

Must have clean MOJ

Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

Must be able to provide 2x references
