**About the role**
You’ll work alongside the Digital Leadership Team & the businesses that are customers of the Digital Workplace and TechConnect portfolio of services. You’ll focus on the delivery of End User Compute services and the performance of Vector’s TechConnect brand through which Digital delivers all services to Vector. Digitisation and automation of the employee experience are at the core of this role.
You’ll build cross-business relationships with internal Vector stakeholders to ensure Digital Workplace Services are fit for purpose, well-understood and utilised and continuously improved through the implementation of rolling 24-month technology roadmaps. You’ll build a Digital Workplace Team with a clear vision and service mindset in an environment that allows the team to thrive.
Key functions are:
- Lead an inhouse team to implement and support Digital Workplace Services
- Own and implement the EUC, Collaboration, and Telephony technology roadmaps that drive towards a more intelligent digital workplace
- Own and update the Digital Workplace service catalogue and service designs
- Digital point person to facilitate and coordinate activities when issues arise
- Demonstrate and evangelise great Service Management practice with a focus on performance
- Participate in, and continuously improve, the Digital operating model
**Who we are looking for**
- You’ll bring your solid experience within digital workplace technology solutions, outcomes driven and a mature service operations background, and can engage, understand and leverage specialist technical practices such as Architecture, Cyber Security, Service Management, Packaged Software Teams etc., to deliver business value
- You have a proven track record in building, leading and evolving teams to effectively, cost efficiently and securely deliver employee-centric services and operate environments
- You’re a ‘player coach’, with a proactive focus on professional development and continual growth for yourself as well as the wider team
- You’re known for your effective communication & collaboration skills, which enable you to develop meaningful relationships with executives, peers, customers, suppliers and business partners as required to deliver great service
- You are a service management practitioner.
