Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Outcomes Specialist II to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clinical outcomes measurement and assessments for quality initiatives and core measures by collecting and analyzing clinical data for patients with conditions such as AMI, HF, Pneumonia, Perinatal, Stroke, VTE, Immunization, ICD Implantation, Carotid Stenting, Endovascular Procedures, TAVR, and Infection Control metrics.
  • Perform data abstraction using appropriate guidelines to collect data for Core Measures, SCIP, ACC Cath PCI, STS, TAVR, ICD Registry, Carotid Stent Registry, Endovascular Registry, and NHSN warehouse for quality improvement purposes.
  • Assist in quarterly and semi-annual data reviews and support data harvest and submission as assigned.
  • Report physician performance variances to the manager for Service Line intervention and peer review purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Current RN license in Ohio.
  • Three years of recent clinical cardiovascular or medical/surgical nursing experience required.
  • Able to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, Access, Excel, or other database applications preferred.
