As the Lifestyle Editor for Australia and New Zealand, you will be a vital force in curating, creating, and enhancing our Project pillar content, which encompasses architecturally designed homes and more. Your role will involve crafting engaging narratives that connect with our diverse readership while exemplifying the pinnacle of architectural excellence.

Working closely with the Managing Editor and Campaign Manager, you will help shape the Project of the Month campaign and contribute to continually improving our content quality and engaging our audience.

Your responsibilities will encompass:
Devising the project's content strategy in alignment with short-term and long-term marketing goals.

Staying updated on emerging architectural projects and notable architects, remaining at the forefront of the latest trends and innovations.

Generating ideas, crafting, and meticulously refining project features for both our digital and print platforms, capturing the essence of architecturally designed homes.

Enhancing the Projects pillar by incorporating your distinctive perspective, elevating content quality, and broadening our audience outreach.

Collaborating closely with the Managing Editor to fine-tune project selection, ensuring alignment with our vision and values.

Collaborating with our talented designers to create innovative storytelling formats that breathe life into architectural narratives.

Managing end-to-end production, creative assets, approval processes, and delivery of all Project of the Month campaign materials, including occasional travel to shooting locations.

Overseeing content distribution across online channels and social media platforms to expand reach and boost engagement.

Maintaining a comprehensive content marketing calendar that schedules all content creation and delivery throughout the year.

Skillfully managing relationships with partners and organizations.

Utilizing online tools like Google Analytics to track the performance of the Project pillar.

Undertaking additional tasks that align with role requirements and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:
Over 5 years of experience in an editorial capacity within the industry.

A degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.

Proficient in copywriting and editing, with exceptional skills.

Bonus: Design, or related industries.

Thorough knowledge of WordPress and SEO concepts.

Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with social media and video distribution.

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, enabling seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams, partners, and clients.

Confidence in liaising with clients.

Comfortable with public speaking and filmed interviews.

Agile, adaptable, and willing to take a hands-on approach when necessary.

Self-motivated, and capable of meeting deadlines while working harmoniously in a tight-knit team.

Demonstrates a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial mindset, and resilience to navigate through constant changes.

Displays a positive, passionate, and fun-loving attitude.
