**Work closely with the SLT to set direction for Health, Safety and Wellbeing and deliver initiatives, investigations, governance reporting and audits.**

100% family owned and managed agribusiness who grow, process, distribute and sell hybrid maize seed through merchant partners to end-use farmers and growers.

**About the role**

The client is seeking a Health and Safety professional who will lead and guide the employees and the SLT, in a collaborative approach. You will be required to work closely with the current HSW Consultant to achieve compliance against the 3-year plan across sites. Some travel throughout New Zealand is required.

**Duties**
- Plan, develop, implement, maintain and review HSW processes and procedures to ensure alignment with AS/NZS 4810 Standard.
- Implement and monitor wellbeing surveys, programmes and initiatives.
- Provide regular reporting.
- Manage the implementation of health and safety management software.

**Skills and experience**

Knowledgeable, friendly and approachable, you will be the first point of contact for all matters Health, Safety and Wellbeing related.
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015
- Able to guide the SLT with clear advice
- Able to lead by example
