We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Dietitian with excellent communication and IT skills, proven time management, clinical experience and knowledge to join our supportive multi-disciplinary team? An ideal opportunity has arisen to join our Diabetes Service, part of the Adult Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate.
This part time permanent position is based at Greenlane Clinical Centre with work also occurring at satellite clinics in the community. The main focus of the role is to provide nutrition and education in diabetic clinics as well as branch out to more innovative techniques such as groups and community settings within the Te Toka Tumai region. This is a busy and stimulating role, offering broad experiences as well as the opportunity to be part of a team committed to your continuing professional development through supervision, support and formal/informal training.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

**The preferred applicant will**:

- Be a NZ Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Have a full NZ driver's licence
- Previous experience with Carbohydrate Counting and DAFNE, would be an advantage
- Excellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a bicultural environment

**Salary Scale based on experience**: $58 513 - $82 271 p.a
