**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
We have a **Senior Dietitian** opportunity available for experienced **New Zealand Registered Dietitian** to join our dynamic, supportive and self-motivated **Critical Care team** of 4.4FTE dietitians within the **Nutrition and Dietetics Service** based at **Auckland City Hospital**. This role is part of the inpatient Dietitian team and would see you working **permanent, full-time**(40 hours /week) Monday to Friday, with roster weekends. This role will primarily be based across our critical care units where you will be:
- part of a rapidly growing critical care team
- involved in reviewing and evolving the model of care within our critical care units
- supported to enhance your skills and knowledge in the comprehensive management of critically ill patients
- supported to lead clinical education and quality improvement initiatives
- working in partnership with an individual and their whānau to provide client / family / whānau centered care
- optimising patient experience by utilizing your excellent interpersonal communication skills
- collaborating with team members and other work groups to achieve our service objectives.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
As the ideal person for this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- At least six years post-graduate clinical experience preferably working within a clinical dietetic setting
- Full, clean NZ Drivers’ License
- Be a great connector of people and ideas
- An understanding of bicultural issues and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary setting
- Effective time management, flexibility, prioritisation and organisation skills
- Drive, energy and initiative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range (Depending on experience)**:Designated Role step 1 $111,240 to designated role step 3 122,570**
