**The Company**
Well-established and growing Automation Systems Integration and Engineering company who specialise in delivering projects across a wide variety of sectors and system platforms in this technical niche.

**The Role**
Due to growth of both engineers and engineering workflow, we are seeking an **Auckland based Automation Engineering Team Lead** to lead and mentor a group of around 10 to 12 Automation Engineers on the control systems projects they are working on.

You will also take the lead on some projects and liaise with clients yourself. You will report to the Engineering Manager.

Automation Engineering here is a mix of Project Management, Programming and Configuration of PLC, SCADA, and HMI, Procurement, Safety Projects, Installation Supervision, and Project Commissioning.

How will your time be split? The Company estimate your time will be spent 1/3 on your own projects, 1/3 mentoring and upskilling enginees to manage their own projects, and 1/3 managing 1 or 2 engineers to deliver projects.

**Does this sound like you?**
- Likely you are tertiary qualified e.g., an Electrical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, Software Engineer (or similar)
- You have Control Systems Programming experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI
- Automation Project Engineering experience, including Safety and Commissioning
- Senior to Team Lead level experience in NZ within Automation Engineering/Control Systems Integration projects
