**About the Role**:
As an Account Director reporting to the General Manager of Wellington, you will be responsible for understanding requirements and matching these to our high-quality services, whilst ensuring maximum client satisfaction. In addition, you will also need to be able to respond to RFI/RFPs, prepare proposals, deliver executive presentations, and negotiate with key stakeholders and decision makers. You will need to understand our clients' challenges and complexities and no two days will be the same.

With your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, you will effectively consult with our clients whilst successfully promoting Planit's brand and capability in providing quality software testing and solutions.

You bring a wealth of knowledge and existing relationships, gained previously in a similar role. You have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of IT services, service management in complex organisations and/or software testing. You will be a problem solver with strong business acumen and an ability to join the dots, skilfully collaborating and building enduring relationships with all stakeholders.

Being customer-centric, you will be flexible and able to multitask and prioritise. You will ensure the highest client satisfaction in all areas across sales and delivery while adding quantifiable value to a wide range of clients both locally and nationally.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Day to day-to-day management of accounts and client relationships within the portfolio
- Working with new and existing customers to build strong long-term trusted partner relationships.
- Working with clients to create and implement innovative delivery solutions.
- Leads and owns and is responsible for the production of proposals or tenders.
- Leads in new business meetings, and proposal presentations.
- Proactively identifying commercial opportunities
- Working with the wider Planit group to keep up to speed with the latest solutions and industry trends.
- Works with existing customers to provide a long-term strategic view.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience as an Account Director in the IT Industry
- Strong experience managing multiple complex projects.
- Experience in managing client relationships.
- Experience in negotiating commercial agreements.
- Experience in managing profitability and margins.
- Strong capabilities in negotiation and possess business acumen skills.
- Proven track record in working with multiple commercial models and industry verticals.
- Has a thorough understanding of sales theory process and business development.
